P is for Petals

A rose. One of only three in our garden and I have to go and pick it and use it for photographic purposes. I hope you think it was worth it. And full view is sooooo much better :-)

    Oh, Pretty, Pretty Petals! Lovely closeup and a beautiful white background with great emphasis on the satin texture and colour of the rose. Fabulous composition too. Very nice work!

    The crisp edges in the front and the softness of the back really appeal to me. Your lighting is very complementary and your off center composition makes this very special.

    I think you got the light just right...along with the composition. I think this could be the front of a Valentines card.

    The sacrifices we make for this challenge ... but yours was a wise one. I do hope you put it on water of dry it to enjoy its beauty a little longer. Or make a canvasprint and hang it on the wall!
